Born in 1932.
Graduated from Keio University Law School in 1961.
Joined Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. in the same year.In 1988 was appointed Director and Manager of the Sales Division, in 1990 Executive Director, in 1992 Managing Director, and in 1994 President. Also serves as Permanent Director of Keidanren (the Japan Federation of Economic Organizations) and Co-Chairman of its Social Security System Committee, Permanent Director of the Japan Federation of Employers' Associations, Vice-President of the Real Estate Companies Association in Japan, Member of the Ministry of Construction's Housing and Building Land Council, and others.
