COMMUNITY INFORMATION

Sing Beethoven's Ninth with the Tokyo Mixed Voice Choir! New participants welcome

The combined performance by the "Dai-Ku wo Utau Kai" (Beethoven's Ninth Choral Society) and the professional Tokyo Mixed Voice Choir in the "Ninth & Emperor" concert (Beethoven's 9th Symphony "Choral" and Piano Concerto No. 5 "The Emperor") is now an established and popular year-end event at the Tokyo International Forum. Participants in the concert, to be held in Hall A on December 14th this year, are now being recruited. The "Dai-Ku wo Utau Kai", whose original aim is to bring classical music closer to a wider range of people, actively welcomes new members every year. This could be anyone, including people with no experience of singing in a choir, young or old. Rehearsals are held every Thursday from 6.30 p.m. Please telephone for more details.

FACILITY INFORMATION

New rental space available in the 1F Basement Concourse

A new rental space is now available in the Tokyo International Forum.
The new space is in the 1F Basement Concourse, in a convenient location just 2 minutes on foot from Tokyo Station on the Keio Line. It is in a self-standing area surrounded by glass partitions. This makes it suitable for holding integral events such as simultaneous seminars, with a secretariat and waiting rooms nearby. It can, of course, also be used as a independent space for recruitment drives, relaxation rooms for event management staff, and so on. We await your reservation.
Rental fees range from 19,000 yen (plus tax) per room for a 3-hour session, or from 63,000 yen (plus tax) per room for a full day.
