This is the 50th anniversary year of the Nihon
Shuji Education Foundation and of founder, Harada
Kanpo, promoting the shodo culture, education
and cultural exchanges with his basic ideology
of "accurate, beautiful letters of love".
The anniversary will be celebrated with a ceremony
and exhibition. The work of Harada Kanpo from
his 20s to his later years will be on display,
together with the award-winning pieces from sekisho
competitions. The main events of the celebrations
will include presentations to organisations/individuals
who have contributed to the widening of shodo
and a 50th anniversary film tracing the lifework
of Harada Kanpo and of the history of Japanese
calligraphy. A seminar will also be held by Ochanomizu
University mathematician and prize-winner of the
Nihon Essayist Club, Mr. Masahiko Fujiwara.

and transcription, where he performs dramatic and flamboyant
classical, jazz, tango and movie music. Charismatic
Violinist Andre Rieu, who embraced the world with jubilee,
with Johan Strass Orchestra, will hold allure participatory

UNEP pursuits business in environmental and sustainability
of various finance institution affairs, which is a subsidiary
organization of UN established to diffuse and promote;
which about 50 countries, 300 organization is affiliated.
Tokyo Roundtable is primary important conference in
the UNEP FI, sponsored by Development Bank of Japan,
will be held in Asia for the first time.
The theme is "Sustaining Value: A role of finance
in sustainable society and value realization."
As recognized in the Johannesburg Summit in 2002, financial
activity with environmental consideration is an international
trend.
Focusing on panel session and workshop, the major discussion
issues are increasing attention on management strategy
in wide industrial and financial world, which was an
effect on business from outbreak of Kyoto Protocol Treaty,
ground pollution provision and environmental risk management,
industrial governance and its probability of continuance,
and social responsible investment and environmental
rating.

RIKEN The Institute of Physical and Chemical Research,
the only Natural Science Research Institute in Japan,
who is hoping to spread the forefront of research, are
