TRON technologies including built-in OS„ITRON
used for the cellular phone, engine-control
computer for cars, digital video and FAX now
became the top built-in architecture over the
world. This is the beginning of ubiquitous computer
era, and to introduce the activities of the
TRON project is the main purposes of holding
"TRON SHOW 2004".
The main theme of this exhibition is "T-Engine
and Ubiquitous ID". Through the displays, movies,
various seminars, lectures and panel discussions,
you can learn about vary of the TRON technologies
that response to establishment of a suitable
environment in order to network each computers
built-in every object. And introducing development
environment called T-Engine that help create
portable information device and network-connected
household appliance more efficiently than before.
Also, on Saturday 13th November, symposium concerned
supporting physically challenged called "TEPS
2004" will be held.

This year is the ASEAN (Association of Southeast Asian
Nations)-Japan Exchange Year. To commemorate, "A RAINBOW
OF DANCE" brings together the top dancers of 10 ASEAN
member countries with the aim of deepening cultural
awareness and understanding between Southeast Asian
countries through dance.
Those participating are the dance groups and cultural
organizations of Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos,
Malaysia, Myanmar, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand,
Vietnam and Japan. The theme of the first part of the
performance is "the dance of the eternal Asian
cities" and demonstrates the court dances of the
different countries. This is followed in the second
act with solo performances by the ASEAN member countries
of "AsiaEMystic Prayers". The third act is
a fun and lively festival of the "Garden of PeaceEthe
Celebration of Joy". Witness the dances of different
countries passed on through generations with pride,
and realize something new to cultures so close, yet
so far. See world peace and hope from an Asian perspective.

The counter tenor, Slava, debuted in Japan following
the release of "Ave Maria" in 1995. The quality of his
voice, once heard never forgotten, has soothed many.
In fact, his album has sold over 300,000 copies and
has gained him a strong following in Japan too. His
recent performance in a charity concert held at Roppongi
Hills has proven this.
The clear and sparkling diamond voice returns for a
Christmas concert in Japan after an absence of 2 years.
Conducted by Keiichi Kanda, and with an ensemble of
strings, wood wind and piano by L' Orchestre du Poisson
Bleu his performance includes Schubert's "Ave Maria",
Caccini's "Ave Maria" and Chaplin's "Smile". A special
Christmas is guaranteed, as you are enveloped in the
beautiful voice and forget the passing of time. Pair
seats are available where you may enjoy the performance
with a glass of wine.

The city of white nights and art, St Petersburg
