Matthew Bourne is a stage director that raises classic ballet, which has been loved through time and borders, in a fresh construal. This is his second visit to Japan after the smashing hit of "Swan Lake" which male dancers performed the swan.
"Nut Cracker" is his second work of his new project called "New Adventures" which started in 2002. It has caught a blaze of publicity in the UK, and after performing in London and other cities, the world tour will start here in Japan. Come and experience the spectacular dream world with the famous Chaikovski music.

Since their debut in 1968, the Deep Purple has been projecting their strong presence as the king of hard rock to the fans of all over the world. With some changes of members, they have kept their strong identity of style, and their music that never fades away.
This time they are coming with their new album" Bananas" which is also an album with their style and even more refined. The members are Ian Gillan (vocals), Roger Glover (bass), Ian Paice (drums), Steve Morse (guitar), Don Airey (keybords). The "Three Tenors" of Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras, and Luciano Pavarotti who are very popular in Japan, are said to be the pinnacle of the music world. Especially Pavarotti is popular with his bright and clear voice. His tour from Tokyo will be the start of his "Fare well concert" world tour which is due to end on his birthday on 12th October 2005.
His concerts in Japan were mainly in big arenas like the Tokyo Dome, Budokan but for his performance for this time is a concert hall. Last June he perfectly performed in an 1800 capacity new hall in Moscow 19songs from Operas and Canzone, and we are sure that we can enjoy his beautiful voice again here in Japan.

By the fans enthusiastic voices of wanting to see their live performances, the live CD+DVD "KISEKI" which was a recording of the concert held in Bejing 21 century concert hall, was released in last November. The long awaited concert by the hit making Joshi Juni Gakubou is on its way. They will show the new style of stage with their new frontier of classic Chinese music "KISEKI".
The Joshi Juni Gakubou is a project of 12 women players of Chinese folk instruments. Instruments such as erhu, lute, bamboo flutes, moon guitar, and Yunnan instruments Foo-Loo-Soo, Too-ryan, also instruments from minorities near the border of Vietnam are used to create their original sound. Each part with their super technique by given special education, they became very popular in Japan soon after their debut. The mixture of ancient sound and western popular music, and the ensemble of the history will sure to touch the listenerΥs heart.
