From his middle to late phase, Beethoven deepened his personal and mysterious artistic style in chamber music and instrumental music. Each and every one of them is a masterpiece and it is difficult to select a specific work, but here, let’s include Piano Trio No. 6 and Cello Sonata dedicated to Countess Erdody, Piano Sonata No. 31 which was supposed to be dedicated to Antonie, a married woman, Piano Sonata No 29 which is the summit of his piano sonata and “Grand Fugue,” and enjoy thoroughly his last work, String Quartet No. 16 and the new finale of No. 13. Piano Sonata No. 29 and No. 31, “Grand Fugue” and Symphony No. 9 are works into which Beethoven poured all of his efforts in his late phase, and I am sure they will expand the profound music world before us like Bach’s works.
