The Leningrad State Ballet is a distinguished ballet company with a history of more than 170 years. It has a reputation for its competitive performances by passionate, dramatic and characteristic prima donnas and soloists, while it is wonderful at elegant and sensitive classical ballet. In addition to performances of all acts of the enduring three master pieces of Tchaikovsky - “Swan Lake,” “Sleeping Beauty,” and “Nutcracker,” selected famous gem scenes from all acts of each work will be presented in the “New Year Special Ballet.” Not only ballet dancers but also a conductor, orchestra and staff of stage art, costume and properties will come to Japan. Beyond time of 1500 years, Togi’s spirit of ancient Japanese court music will be revived in the spring land of the living.
Hideki Togi was born in the Togi family, a music family which has been performing ancient Japanese court music for 1300 years, from the Nara period. He grew up absorbing music of various genres such as rock, classical music and jazz, and entered the music department of the Imperial Household Agency after graduating from high school. While he performed in court ceremonies and concerts in the Imperial Palace, he put his heart into works of his own creation which combine modern sounds, such as the piano and synthesizer, with Japanese court music, and entered the limelight with an album “Hideki Togi.” He started a self-produced New Year concert tour in 1999. This year again, Hideki Togi’s pursuit of a new presentation will start from this stage.

King of UK rock outstrips the world with raging live activities
They made their sensational debut with the album “KASABIAN” in the summer of 2004. Since then Kasabian, a revolutionist rock group of the UK, has been increasing the number of their advocates with their lunatic chemical rock and raging live activities. A long-awaited second album, “Empire,” released in September, topped the UK chart. . They became breaking artists in deed as well as in name.
