Calligrapher and poet Mitsuo Aida has continued to his quest of words and his work. His many pieces on display at the Mitsuo Aida Gallery which has reached its 7th anniversary, will be moving from its current location in Ginza to Forum B1 of the Tokyo International Forum on November 1st. The move will mean a doubling in the size of the gallery and with the theme of "A place to spend two hours of one's life" aims to create a totally new type of gallery where the visitors can not only feel the pieces physically but also emotionally. Imaged on the Hachimanyama old burial mound that Mitsuo Aida often took walks to, the gallery shows his pieces in an interactive format. In addition, to allow visitors to indulge in thought after seeing his work, a bar, a dining table and a Japanese tea lounge have also been built within the gallery. Visitors may discuss in a relaxed atmosphere the meaning of "life".
