- Art Work
The art for the Tokyo International Forum was installed for the purpose of elevating the cultural quality of the facilities, and to welcome and enrich Forum visitors while harmonizing with the architectural space.
The theme of the collection has been expressed as “A Boat of Diversity," a phrase which both reflects the fact that the Forum’s hallmark facility of the Glass Hall looks like a large boat, and manifests the key collection concept of the mutual recognition of diverse values. Hence this collection places great value on being international, contemporary, lasting and consistent.
Artworks by Andy Warhol and Robert Mapplethorpe are not displayed on thispage due to protected rights.
