・The Lounge and Conference Room G701 areas on the 7th floor of the Glass Building are reserved for rental. When the space is being used for events, etc., do not enter unless you are an event organizer or participant.
・Do not obstruct passersby by occupying passageways.
・Do not occupy space with the use of tripods, reflectors, or other equipment.
・Ensure that the photography-prohibited event areas and third parties are not seen in the background of your photos.
・Do not violate public order or morality.

Q. Is parking available? Open

There are 417 spaces for passenger cars (including 7 accessible spaces, 12 EV spaces(2 units for electric vehicle recharging only (fast chargers), 10 units for electric vehicle recharging priority (slow chargers)) and 10 spaces for motorcycles in the B3F parking lot.
Fee: Passenger cars ¥200/30 min, motorcycles ¥100/60 min. ※EV chargers are available for an additional fee.
Hours: 7:00 - 23:30 (Parking lot is closed outside business hours)
Vehicles accommodated: Those not exceeding 2.2m in height, 1.9m in width, and 5.4m in length, including any loads and attachments. No bicycles allowed.
- The parking lot can be very crowded on weekends and during events, so we recommend using public transportation whenever possible.
- Monthly parking options are also available (except for motorcycles). For further details, please contact us.

Q. Is bicycle parking available? Open

Bicycle parking is not available. Please use other bicycle parking lots nearby.

Q. Can I use the community cycle? Open

The Tokyo Chiyoda City Bike Share (Bicycle rental) Cycle Port is located in the building. This system offers bicycle rentals and returns at any Cycle Port in the area.

Q. How can I get to the Glass Building conference rooms (G401 - 701)? Open

Please use the Glass Building B1F elevator.
Persons visiting in a wheelchair or with a baby stroller from 1F may enter via the Glass Building 1F Yurakucho Station side entrance, head to the right side of the stairs, go all the way through the automatic doors, then use the elevator on the right side.

Q. How can I get to the hall E (B2F) using an elevator? Open

Use an elevator near the center bridge on B1F of the Glass Building to go to B2F.

This is located on the first floor of the Glass Building on the Yurakucho Station side. Here you can find Tokyo International Forum guidebooks, tourist guidebooks, and a Tokyo International Forum souvenir stamp.

Q. Is a cloakroom available? Open

There is no permanent cloakroom. A cloakroom can be used when made available by an event organizer.

Q. Is a smoking space available? Open

Smoking is not permitted in public spaces.
Smoking spaces are available in each facility when participating in events held in the halls and conference rooms.
- Please note that in some cases, the organizer may request that smoking spaces be closed.
Some restaurants and cafes in the building have smoking seating.

Q. Are pay lockers available? Open

Pay lockers are available in the following five locations: in front and at side of Famima!!, next to Tokyo Station (Keiyo Entrance) on B1F, in the Glass Building on B1F of the Yurakucho side and on B1F of the Tokyo Station side.

Q. Are ATMs available? Open

On the first floor Tokyo Station side of the Glass Building you will find Seven Bank, and a Japan Post Bank ATM inside Famima!! on B1F underground concourse.

Q. Are beverage vending machines available? Open

Beverage vending machines are located in the following places:
・Glass Building: Near the 4F - 7F elevators. and behind the escalator on B1F
・1F Plaza
・1F: Near emergency stairs between blocks B and C
・1F: Near entrance to block D

Q. Is there somewhere I can use the internet or Wi-Fi? Open

Free public Wi-Fi is available in public areas such as the lobby, Underground Concourse, and Plaza, provided by the following two companies. ( As of November 1, 2023)

Talk to the appropriate staff member for details on Wi-Fi provided at each shop and restaurant.

Q. Are tours of Tokyo International Forum available? Open

Although tours are not available for rental spaces and back offices, visitors can feel free to tour public spaces, such as the Glass Building, Plaza and Underground Concourse, during opening hours (7:00~23:30).
The area around the Lounge on the 7th floor of the Glass Building and Conference Room G701 is reserved for rental. While the space is being used for events, etc., please refrain from entering the rental areas except for event organizers and participants.

Q. Are there any restaurants that allow smoking? Open

Q. Are there any places where groups can eat boxed lunches or can meet? Open

No, there are not. Thank you for understanding.

Q. Are pets permitted in the building? Open

Pets are only permitted in the Plaza if brought in a hand-held carrier or cart (where the pet is completely enclosed) or on a leash.
Please refrain from bringing pets into the building or parking lot.
Note: Service dogs are exempt from this rule, and may be brought into the facilities.

Q. Do you lend wheelchairs? Open

Wheelchairs are available at information desks, the Security Center, and main halls as first-aid supplies.
Please talk to a nearby staff member or use the intercom.

Q. Where is the barrier-free toilet (changing diapers, wheelchair accessible)? Open

Barrier-free toilets are located throughout the facilities.
Please check the building map for locations of barrier-free toilets in public spaces.
Check the hall and conference room floor map for locations in halls and multifunction conference room halls.
Note: Ostomate accessible toilets are located on Glass Building 1F and B3F.

Q. Is a nursing room available? Open

Yes, it is located next to Cafe Lexcel on B1F of the Glass Building. [Available: 9:30-18:30]
Persons who wish to use the nursing room may ask for a key via the intercom. A staff member will bring the key to you.
Note: Men are asked to refrain from entering the nursing room. If you would like to change a diaper only, a diaper changing station is available in the barrier-free toilets.

Q. Is a childcare room available? Open

There is no permanent childcare room. This room can be used if the organizer of the event wishes to set up a childcare room.

Q. I found a lost item. Where should I go? Open

Please either turn it in at the lost and found desk (inside the Security Center on B1F of the Glass Building) or nearby staff member, such as at an information desk (on 1F of the Glass Building Yurakucho Station side). When doing so, please inform the staff of where the item was found. In some cases, the staff may ask for your name.

Emergency Information

Q. What should I do if I need to call an ambulance? Open

If you require an ambulance, please dial 119 directly in case of emergencies.
After dialing 119, please contact the Security Center. The security staff will help smoothly guide the ambulance to your location and provide additional support.

Q. Are there AED (Automated External Defibrillator) in the building? Open

Tokyo International Forum installed AED stations in December 2004 in order to further improve safety measures for visitors. There are currently 15 AED stations within the buildings.
An AED unit is a medical device that applies an electric shock to hearts that have spasmed and lost the ability to pump blood (ventricular fibrillation), returning the organ to normal rhythm.

We ask that you refrain from bringing in wireless microphone equipment, as doing so can result in crossed lines.

Q. Is Wi-Fi available? Open

A Wi-Fi network can be made available for a fee when required. A permanent Wi-Fi network is not available.

Q. Is it possible to entrust items to Tokyo International Forum ahead of time? Open

No, we do not offer such a service. Please bring items, etc. on the day you will use the facilities.

Q. What is the process on the day of facilities use? Open

A key to the conference room will be provided 15 minutes before your start time. Please come to the conference room reception counter on 4F of the Glass Building.
Talk to a sales representative when using a hall, etc.

Q. I would like to have my items shipped after facilities use is over. What should I do? Open

Tokyo International Forum does not have a designated delivery service, so organizers must request collection and transportation.
Please make sure that items are collected within facilities usage time.
Famima!! (B1F) offers shipping services, but they may not be able to handle large requests, so be sure to contact them ahead of time. (Famima!!: 03-6259-3657)

Q. What are the Tokyo International Forum parking lot hours? Open

Q. Is a childcare room available? Open

A childcare room is available in the building, but it is not available at all times.This room can be used if the organizer of the event wishes to set up a childcare room.
Note that when using the existing childcare room, Tokyo International Forum arranges for babysitters, using our designated provider. For further details, please contact a sales representative.
- If the organizer has a designated childcare provider, the Glass Building conference room or another can be rented and used as a childcare room.

Q. Is there a place where a computer or fax can be used? Open

A self-service copy and fax room located on the 4th floor of the Glass Building (coin operated). Printing from USB memory sticks and CD-R formats is also available.

Q. Where can I find details about the architecture of Tokyo International Forum? Open

Japan’s first official international design competition recognized by the International Union of Architects (UIA) was held in 1988 to seek design submissions for the Forum. The following year a design by the U.S. architect Rafael Viñoly was selected from among 395 designs submitted by architects from 50 countries. Under the direction of Mr. Viñloy, a large team of design staff, including from Japan, started work on the basic design for realizing his overall architectural vision. Construction of the Forum commenced in October 1992, and was completed in May 1996.
