Tokyo International Forum Responds to the Shift to COVID-19 Rebound Prevention Measures : Changes to Facility Operations and Restaurant Operating Hours

At the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s request, based on the lifting of the state of emergency declaration for COVID-19 and the decision to shift to rebound prevention measures, Tokyo International Forum will operate our facilities as follows.
We regret the inconvenience this causes to our guests, and we ask for your understanding.

Details:

1. Period
Friday, October 1 to Sunday, October 24, 2021

2. Operating hours for restaurants inside the facility
The restaurants will operate in accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government’s rebound prevention measures and other policies.
(1) Restaurants displaying a rainbow “COVID-19 Safety Sticker,” indicating adherence with thorough infection prevention measures:
Will close by 21:00, and can serve alcohol from 11:00 to 20:00
(2) Other restaurants:
Will close by 20:00, and cannot serve alcohol

3. Facility rental
Rental procedures will follow the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's policy regarding rebound prevention measures. (For example, organizers are requested to limit events to 5,000 people maximum, with up to 100% capacity for events with no shouting / up to 50% for events with shouting, and an end time on or before 21:00.)
*We will implement thorough infection prevention measures.

4. Glass Building 
The Glass Building will close at 21:00.

5. Coin lockers
Access to the coin lockers located in the Glass Building and in the lobby of Hall E will be available only until 21:00.

6. ATMs, fee-based portable chargers (Chargers can be used beginning October 2)
The ATM machine and fee-based portable chargers located inside the Glass Building will be available for use only until 21:00.
